The studio is a raised semi-basement — set partly into the slope, with its windows sitting well above ground level. Daylight reaches right through the room, and the walls keep it naturally cool through the hottest part of the summer.
It also gives the studio its own entrance straight from the garden, with the shaded terrace and lawn a step outside the door.

A five-minute walk to the water
The beach is roughly 400 metres from the door — close enough for an early swim before breakfast, and for the walk back up in the evening to feel like part of the day rather than a journey.
It makes for long, unhurried afternoons and an authentic seaside rhythm without needing the car.

The studio sits in a spot that balances peace and quiet with easy access to cafés, services and everyday essentials. The centre of Finikounda is 2km away — close enough for dinner in the village, far enough that the evenings stay quiet.
